Online
Group Crit Session
Thoughtful group crit focusing on (up to) 4 individuals practices.
Welcome to Poolnet!
We are an online, accessible art collective for disabled and chronically-ill artists.
Our group crit sessions focus on giving considerate, constructive and nurturing feedback. All of our sessions are informal however we would describe this one as the most structured, as we will be keeping to time, focusing on and presenting one piece of work at a time and typically using more “art-jargon” language.
There are 4 bookable time slots (15 mins each) for each session, these are booked through Instagram DM. Any number of members can join the crit, but we will only be talking about the 4 artists that have booked slots.
So our sessions are as accessible as possible, we do not explicitly force our crits to only explore finished pieces. We are also willing to work with developing ideas, unfinished pieces and even old work too. However these sessions are the perfect opportunity to see how your practice and finished works can translate to the viewer.
To join the meeting, please sign-up to Poolnet Collective via the forms in our Linktree.
You will be emailed with information and an itinerary before the session, as well as receiving an email reminder 24hr before.
If you have any questions or specific access needs, please do not hesitate to email us on thepoolnet@gmail.com
