Experimental Darkroom - 8 week course

We run this 8 week course twice a year. This is an in depth exploration of alternative processes chemical photography based in the darkroom making wonderful photographic images in our photo studio using the wonderful equipment we have. Tim Pearse has over 20 years experience in the darkroom and shares his skills and caring mentorship with all that want to learn and flip their practice on their head. Open to everyone, no previous darkroom experience is needed, just a curiosity of what is possible and and openness to explore. Printmakers, painters and photographers alike enjoy a supportive cohort of people who journey together to explore the darkroom world and analogue photography.
The Wednesday evenings run 6-9pm and we gift 3 darkroom sessions to use at your own pace to work on a project after the group learning.
