These Four Walls
Four artists come together to articulate the stories within the lived space, tugging at our own experience; material, emotional, psychological..
More than ever our relationship with the lived environment is changing. ‘Work from home’ has brought practical and social transformation, while the constant stream of digital content that winds its way into the quiet spaces of our lives, means the four walls of the house are forever breached.
But while the house has always been seen as a quiet refuge from the world, it was never really so. By contrast, in reality it is pulsating with domestic drama, rumbling with material interaction and decay, and brimming with narrative, secrecy and playfulness. In this exhibition, four artists come together to articulate the stories within the lived space, tugging at our own experience, material, emotional, psychological and otherwise.
