Introduction to 3D Printing

Fab Lab South West is an active workshop and digital fabrication space, and is the ideal environment for practical learning and exploration of various 3D printing techniques and equipment.

During this course, you will have the opportunity to explore our range of Bambu 3D printers, including the Bambu A1 Mini, Bambu X1C and Bambu P1S.

This course will cover:

• Understanding how 3D printing works including materials, limitations and key health and safety considerations,

• Core machine operation and maintenance,

• Understanding of 3D Slicing software,

• Basic troubleshooting.
