Coastal Riches — A Solo Exhibition of 2 and 3D Ceramic works
Artizan are delighted to be opening their exhibition programme for 2023 with a solo show of coastal inspired works by Torbay based ceramic artist, David Jones.
David grew up and worked in the potteries in Staffordshire, primarily working for many of those well renowned companies whose names are synonymous with that area. This extensive career forms the bedrock of his creative practice now.
David moved to Devon in 1997, continuing to pursue a career in ceramics design, model making and creative developer, but here he also set aside time to start producing and developing his own work, A regular exhibitor with Artizan, this will be the first time we have hosted a sole show for David, providing the opportunity for him to show a new body of work in both 2 and 3D recently completed and inspired by the coast that surrounds us and his love of fishing.
There will be the opportunity to meet David on Friday 10th March at our Artist Preview 18:00 - 20:00
