If you’re planning to submit an ACE Project Grant and want some time to get your head round the new application process, this is for you.
The workshop will include:
Key differences between the old and new application form
What are the Let’s Create Outcomes and how do I show how my project contributes to them?
What are the Investment Principles and how do they apply to my project?
Discussion and support from other people in the same boat
Time to ask questions
The session will include practical activities and discussions to put the new application process into action. You can use a project you’re planning to put in an application for, to help you get started on your bid, or just an example project to apply the concepts to.
This workshop is ideal if you have an understanding of the basics of writing an ACE bid but want to make sure you’re up to date. Please note this will be specific to the new grant process, rather than a general workshop on bid-writing skills.
About Christina
I am an arts trainer, consultant and project manager, working for artists and organisations across the UK for the last 18 years. I love working on finance, policies, fundraising, organisational development and procedures - all the things that underpin the arts and allow amazing projects to happen. My fundraising experience covers the spectrum from raising small pots of money for community projects through to leading on fundraising strategy and successful multi year large-scale bids for Arts Council National Portfolio Organisations. I have worked with multiple organisations on their company set up or charity incorporation. My training is informed by extensive, current experience.
“Christina's natural manner along with her clear knowledge and experience makes her the perfect presenter. She is fun yet calm and speaks with a confidence and warmth that grabs you from start to finish. Her sessions are a brilliant and clever blend of group exercises, work in pairs and classic presenting that can engage people of all learning styles" Sam
