Friday Late: Earthly Echoes
Join us for Friday Late: Earthly Echoes at Aspex Portsmouth & celebrate ecofeminism with art, music & dance this International Women’s Day!
Aspex Portsmouth warmly invites you to Friday Late: Earthly Echoes, an exciting event we are collaborating on with Women in Art and Kino Cult CIC to celebrate International Women’s Day. Inspired by the themes of Embodied Activism, our current exhibition by artist Sivan Rubinstein, this event will explore ecofeminism through art, performance, music and communal dancing.
On the evening, you can enjoy:
- Immersive live visuals from the 1KP VJ Collective (Amélie Stevenson, Tash Dupker, Kim Balouch & Rachel Jones)
- A DJ set from Michelle Ezeuko (g0dsf4ve)
- Participatory creative activities throughout the evening including an upcycled paper flower workshop with artist-in-residence Tracey Bush
- Unlimited access to Aspex Portsmouth's current exhibitions - Embodied Activism by Sivan Rubinstein, Living Materials by Louise Frances Smith, and a group showcase by students from City of Portsmouth College.

Aspex is a ground floor venue and has step free access. Please be aware, the entrance to Aspex has cobbled pavements. This event will include flashing light and loud music.
