ZED LOVE CLOSING PERFORMANCE & IN CONVERSATION
A closing performance by exhibiting artist Libita Sibungu, followed by an in conversation with sound artist, Neil Rose.
Join Libita Sibungu for a live performance of the exhibition’s vocal score ‘un-settle-un-stable’ with collaborators Maria Christoforidou, Caroline Deeds, Catherine Lucktaylor and Angeline Morrison, marking the closing week of her solo exhibition ZED LOVE at The Exchange. Libita will explore writing with notes as an embodied, exhibition making process. The performance will be followed by an in-conversation between Libita and sound artist Neil Rose, who worked together on the realisation and composition of the exhibition’s sound work.

Bios:
NEIL ROSE
Neil Rose is a sound artist and academic specialising in electroacoustic and acousmatic music. As a sound designer, he has collaborated extensively with artists including Harriet Bowman, Abigail Reynolds, Simon Lee Dicker, Lauren Craig, and Melanie Manchot.
Neil studied Sonic Arts at Middlesex University, was a key member of Plymouth’s experimental sound event Café Concrete, and is Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for BA (Hons) Film & Screen Arts at Arts University Plymouth.
LIBITA SIBUNGU
Libita Sibungu is based in Cornwall. She is a multidisciplinary artist drawing on her British-Namibian-Cornish heritage to make discursive works that explore entangled personal histories, and collective colonial legacies inscribed in the body and land. #
Libita is a recipient of the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Arts Future Foundation awards (2022). Her work has been presented internationally, including at; RADIUS CCA (2026); Tate Modern (2025); Kunsthall Trondheim (2023); Sonsbeek and Temple Bar Gallery (2021); Gasworks, and Somerset House (2019).
