Exhibition: Chasing The Wind
An exciting exhibition to start the year showcasing some fabulous paintings by Ben Lucas, Hannah Bone and Tom Musgrove
CHASING THE WIND, our first exhibition of 2024 and and also the first exhibition at Brownston for our three artists.
Headlining the show is Ben Lucas recently returned to his Devon homeland from over 17 years in Australia where he exhibited widely and successfully. Captivated by the wildness of the oceans around the world his stunning seascapes instil a sense of adventure and freedom echoing his own journey of discovery and exploration across the world's oceans.
Now back home in picturesque Appledore in North Devon, Ben has created a new collection striking a harmonious balance between dramatic, raw energy and a serene, ethereal calm, inviting us to wonder at the power and beauty of the sea.
Ben is supported by Tom Musgrove whose paintings are rooted in human relationships that challenge yet console, peeling back the layers of social interaction; and local Totnes artist Hannah Bone whose free-form spontaneous landscapes of local scenes captivate and inspire.
This is a super exhibition to start off our year. Everyone is welcome to join us for the Launch Party being held on Saturday 17th February from 12.00 to 3.00 pm which is being kindly supported by Wicked Wolf, a multi-award winning distillery, crafting premium quality artisan gins and vodkas made from botanicals distilled on Exmoor.
