Karen Barry
Karen is an artist who works with communities in various care settings and groups, including refugees & asylum seekers, people in recovery, adults with learning disabilities, young people, and people experiencing mental health issues. Her practice supports people to learn new creative skills and find joy and connection in their local community. Karen views her creative practice through a social lens. Her work is heavily influenced by her relationship with the coastline, nature and care-centred practice.
