Are you an emerging artist seeking support with applications for commissions, grants, or open calls, but find it challenging to communicate your ideas effectively?

This practical workshop is designed to demystify the process of writing compelling proposals and responding to briefs for creative projects-from crafting artist statements to developing clear, engaging project outlines. Led by experienced artist and creative producer Sam Francis, the session will help you articulate your artistic vision with confidence and adapt your writing for different audiences, contexts, and opportunities. You'll gain valuable insight into what commissioners look for, review successful examples, and receive constructive feedback.

Whether you're applying for public art commissions, exhibitions, or funding, this workshop will give you the tools to write with clarity, authenticity, and impact.
