'Beauty & Truth' an exhibition of paintings by Jon Minshull
Paintings inspired by mythology, geometry & nature, reflecting a passion for beauty & truth found internally & in the mythologies of culture & science
Jon’s work is inspired by mythology, geometry and nature. It reflects his passion for beauty and truth found both in the internal world and in the external mythologies of culture and science.
” My aspiration is to make beautiful and intriguing images which uplift and inspire. A key theme in my work is the multiple levels or layers of consciousness which make up our experience of the natural and metaphysical worlds. As theoretical physics and our glimpses of the quantum world evolve, extraordinary parallels emerge with the philosophical and spiritual understanding gained from the world’s diverse yet connected cultural histories. Archetypal myths and the inherent processes of change in the universe become unified. Sacred geometry exists as an operating system for understanding the unfolding of the laws of nature and the evolution of the consciousness which can be seen as pure information and is, beyond space and time, the most fundamental layer of reality. The images act as nature mandalas to provoke contemplation of the nature of reality, the reality of nature and our human experience of it.” -Jon Minshull
There will also be a large selection of landscapes and nudes.
