AQUA

"Water, with its comfort and danger as well as the sometimes terrible lack of it, is the focus of this exhibition. It is used as a setting for human drama but is also pictured as a key feature in itself. The fluid that sustains life in the womb is celebrated as is water as a means of transit, with its constant condition of flux enabling and reflecting the changes of the voyage and in particular, the refugee’s state of passing between states in a dangerous adventure fuelled by hope."
