An Introduction to Expressionist Photography with Valda Bailey

Join Valda Bailey in Bude as she demonstrates how you can use your camera to go beyond the act of merely replicating what is in front of the lens. She will talk about how you can use camera movement and multiple exposure to turn the most mundane elements in to expressive abstraction. Let your imagination run free. Use your camera to paint with light and colour. You will need a camera that offers multiple exposure facility and/or any camera with a neutral density filter (for Intentional Camera Movement). If you wish to learn about multiple exposure but your camera does not have this facility, then an iPhone will work (not Android, unfortunately).

Meet at Bude Surf Life Saving Club at 10am, please bring a camera, memory cards, spare batteries, sensible footwear and waterproofs, and a packed lunch (there are also local cafes).
