The Reset Webinar: Support Networks for Curators

For the second event of The Reset, we welcome curator and producer Mandy Fowler to host a webinar for South West based curators.

While cultural venues are closed and the safety of our communities during the pandemic remains the top priority, curators are either dramatically reconfiguring or postponing their projects with the knowledge that this directly impacts the employment of others. The suspension of core funding schemes is also affecting the development and delivery of projects further into the future, whilst adding insecurity to the already precarious employment of independent curators.

Fowler’s webinar invites South West based curators to gather and share strategies on how to support one another at a time when many are working and overcoming unprecedented professional challenges in isolation. The webinar will be an opportunity to connect with others through conversation, map out support networks available to us and identify where further potential for expanding our networks may still lie untapped.
