A person with short dark hair, round glasses, and a wide smile sits outdoors on concrete stairs. They are wearing a black graphic t-shirt and black pants, with their hands resting on their knees. A textured, rocky wall with sparse green plants serves as the softly blurred background in natural daylight.

Hannah Rose

I have 23+ years experience working professionally in the arts sector in strategic roles within arts organisations, Higher Education Institutions, as an artist (running a respected people-centred arts practice), and through grassroots arts development and independent consultancy.

In my freelance practice I specialises in delivering tailored mentoring, access support, workshop design and bid writing.

  • Specialised Access Support: I provide vital Access Support for disabled and neurodivergent practitioners, assisting them with Arts Council England funding applications, project management and administration.
  • Mentoring & Skills Development: Delivering tailored 1-to-1 mentoring, guest institutional lectures, and group workshops to help artists build professional skills and confidence.
  • Bid Writing & Funding: Securing vital project funding as an independent bid writer for community-focused groups and organisations.

"Thank you so much for ALL your hard work in helping me write this and for navigating me through the process. I would have given up so many times if it wasn’t for your persistent, calm encouragement – and strong conviction that it was a worthy proposal and good enough for ACE funding” - access support client

"..What followed was some of the most transformative mentoring and support I’ve received to date. From focus on individual works and recurring themes, to workshopping ideas and time management, to devising future strategies with actionable steps to achieve them. Hannah possesses a remarkable ability to illuminate clear pathways forward that may have been challenging to discern independently. Crucially, she assists in establishing frameworks that facilitate the achievement of these objectives" - mentoring client
