Sovay Berriman

Sovay Berriman is an artist, coach, creative consultant and producer living and working in Cornwall.

As a trained coach and facilitator, Sovay works with artists and organisations to develop resilience and resourcefulness, calling on her strengths in creative and practical problem solving, building and maintaining relationships, scenario visioning, and strategy creating.

Their art practice spans sculpture, drawing, film, writing, research and social learning situations. Their work reviews and questions systems and structures of power, challenging us to claim agency and responsibility for the roles we play in the ecosystems we occupy now and in the future.

Sovay is a trustee of Creative Kernow, an Artists Now Advisory Group member, and was the Clore Leadership Visual Arts Fellow 2023/24, through which they developed their ReWilding Arts Leadership concept - that systems can be improved by embodying the creative, supple and critical approaches of arts practice. Alongside art working Sovay leads their own Retrofit Consultancy & Heating Installation business.
