WILLIAM KENTRIDGE DRAWINGS IN MOTION
Exhibition extended until 27 September
A delightful pairing of two short animated films made some twenty years apart, this exhibition by South African artist William Kentridge focuses on the way in which drawing functions at the heart of his work. Journey to the Moon, 2003 (7:10 min) is a playful response to the 1902 Georges Méliès film, Le Voyage dans la Lune, while Fugitive Words, 2024 (8:33 min) offers a passage through the evolving pages of Kentridge's sketchbook. Also on show is a thirty minute documentary made by Louisiana Channel, Denmark, and a selection of Kentridge monographs and book works.
Wednesday to Friday, 10am - 4pm
Saturday, 10am - 8pm
Free admission, all welcome
