Join us every Monday in August to listen to the sounds of Hepworth’s garden with an experimental audio guide created by local school students; Amelie, Arthur, Chayse, Denzel, Gabby, Jacob, Kerenza, Lucas, Merryn, Noah, Tean and Tia, with artists Peach Doble and Cassius Nymh.

The audio tours propose approaches for engaging with sculptures and natural environments through sound. They also document the ways in which the young people chose to explore the garden.

Tours are available on a first come first serve basis and run at 10.30, 11.00, and 11.30 every Monday and take approximately 20 minutes. The tour starts from the garden entrance to the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden. Each visitor will receive their own cassette player and headphones, and the session will be facilitated by a member of our team. Maximum capacity for each tour is 5, should you like to reserve a space due to access requirements please call 01736 796226 or email visiting.stives@tate.org.uk. The tours are free with admission.

The tours are part of a three-year project with students from Truro and Penwith Multi Academy Trust Schools, led by artist Peach Doble and supported by the Mildred Fund.

Tour dates: Monday 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 August
