Work with Scientists and conservationists ‘in the field’ for free, exciting, hands-on workshop at Cape Farewell’s HQ on the Sydling water.
A hands-on experience, in partnership with Bournemouth University, to understand how a scientist conducts experimental work and how that work adds data and knowledge about our climate challenged environment.
4 Activities:
Explore the fascinating microscopic world of rivers and ponds with Professor Genoveva Esteban from Bournemouth University, and discover the incredible diversity of microscopic organisms thriving in aquatic environments by peering through a microscope.
Listen to and identify birds and bird calls on a guided bird tour around the WaterShed site with George Green (Chairman of the Dorset Bird Club) and Samantha Lloyd
