Summer Soiree

A get-together for artists and creatives in Cornwall

Date
23/07/26
Region
Cornwall
Opening Times
18:30 – 21:00

Come and raise a glass to Cornwall's thriving creative scene at this summer get-together for artists and creatives.

The Summer Soiree is an opportunity to talk about current projects and future dreams, as you catch up with old creative friends and meet new ones. Explore the galleries, hear more about the museum’s transformation plans, and have your say about the future of Cornwall’s national museum and gallery – all to the background of a decent soundtrack, with a glass of something cold and delicious in hand!

Featuring:

  • A pop-up wine tasting led by the UK’s No.1 wine merchant, Old Chapel Cellars
  • A short illustrated artist talk from St-Ives based activist Camilla Dixon: Talking About Not Talking: how local and global issues shape individual practice.
  • The museum’s Co-Director, Bryony Robins, on plans for the final phase of the museum’s transformation
  • Creative Kernow’s CEO, Gregg Whelan, on how the organisation supports artists across Cornwall.

The event is free to artists and creatives in Cornwall, but booking is essential.
