Open Studios
Spike Island Open Studios
After a two-year hiatus, Spike Island will once again throw open its doors to the public.
Open Studios is a chance to explore behind-the-scenes of the former Brooke Bond tea-packing factory, home to over 70 artists’ studios, Spike Print Studio, UWE Fine Art BA/MA students, as well as many other creative practitioners including designers, writers, filmmakers, animators and photographers.
Visitors have the chance to meet artists in their studios and see their working practices, enjoy family-friendly activities and browse art works for sale, with drinks and street food also available.
The weekend will coincide with the final week of current exhibitions:
Pigs and Poison by Candice Lin
&
Nosferasta by Adam Khalil and Bayley Sweitzer with Oba
