This exhibition presents a series of photographs by Sławek Rzewuski, taken in the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories between 2012 and 2019.
Alongside the photographs is a poem by Palestinian hip hop artist Tamer Nafar titled Put Your Arms Around Me, accompanied by a video installation.
Collectively, the works confront the realities of occupation and demonstrate sumud, the steadfast resistance and resilience of the Palestinian people.

TAMER NAFAR
Tamer Nafar, the first Palestinian rapper, grew up in Lyd, a mixed Palestinian-Jewish city. In 2000, he co-founded DAM, the first Palestinian hip-hop group. Their breakthrough single Min Irhabi gained massive popularity, making DAM a voice for Palestinian struggle, women’s
rights, and social activism. Beyond music, Tamer has led impactful campaigns like Room No 4 against child arrests and Who Are You, a viral women’s rights initiative. He co-wrote and starred in Junction 48, whichwon awards at the Berlin and Tribeca film festivals. He has also acted in Hummus Full Trailer (2022) and How to Make a Revolution (2023) and writes op-eds with Haaretz, +972 Magazine, Telepolis, and The Guardian.
SLAWEK RZEWUSKI
Sławek Rzewuski is a documentary photographer and journalist who has published regularly in Le Monde Diplomatique. Since 2012, he has worked extensively in Palestine, contributing to grassroots human rights organisations and publishing his work in international magazines and newspapers. His photography has been showcased in numerous exhibitions across Europe and the UK. Sławek directed the short film On This Land, accompanied by music from Emel Mathlouthi, which was featured at the Bristol Palestine Film Festival in 2019.
