Simon Lee Dicker: Landslip
‘a love letter to a small stretch of Dorset coastline’
Described as, ‘a love letter to a small stretch of Dorset coastline’, this collage of photography, film and animation captures an eroding landscape of crumbling cliffs. The title Landslip refers to both the process of material transformation from a solid to a liquid state as well as the raw material of liquid clay, called ‘slip’.
Simon Lee Dicker is an artist based in south Somerset whose work explores landscape in a state of flux. He is also co-founder of the artist-run organisation OSR Projects.
This display is part of RAMM’s Contemporary Art Programme funded by Arts Council England.
