An exhibition of recent prints by Carole Anne Tonge and Nichola Goff inspired by walking.
Nichola will be showing work from the "36 days in lockdown" series. These woodblock prints represent 36 gps mapped walks taken during lockdown 2020. They are printed with hand-processed earth pigment inks mostly sourced from the Forest of Dean.
Carole Anne's monotypes reflect the marks left behind in the landscape. During this time spent following maps Carole has become fascinated by all the different names for the humble footpath, some of which she has recorded in unique artist books. You are invited to add your favourites to the growing list.
