Get ready for a day of exploring how merging artistic and printmaking processes with technology and sciences makes for more profound and exciting outcomes.
Immerse yourself in various crafts and processes, from screen printing and letterpress to mental health and well-being and digital technologies in traditional printmaking.
RAMP has organised the day as part of the Print in Action programme to explore the arts, printmaking and crafts and their impact on individuals and communities.
Wrapping up the day will be a panel discussion featuring Victoria Pomery OBE, CEO of The Box; Prof. Stephen Felmingham, artist and educator, Arts University Plymouth; Prof. Chris Bennewith, Executive Dean, University of Plymouth; Prof. Carinna Parraman, Director of the Centre for Print Research, UWE, and James Mackenzie-Blackman, CEO of the Theatre Royal, Plymouth.
They will discuss ideas around developing creative places, the urban-rural divide, diversity and inclusiveness, and the long-term sustainable role of the maker. Audience members will be invited to ask questions.
