Preview, Embodied Activism
Join us for the preview of Sivan Rubinstein’s Embodied Activism, and enjoy an exclusive first look ahead of its public opening.
Embodied Activism presents the debut visual arts exhibition by interdisciplinary dance artist Sivan Rubinstein. Known for her work that seamlessly blends dance, projection, and installation, Rubinstein presents a transformative exploration of creation emerging from destruction.
This captivating exhibition invites visitors on a journey through visceral choreography and movement provocations, addressing urgent themes of migration and climate change. Embodied Activism is a powerful reminder of humanity’s fragility and resilience, celebrating the interconnectedness that binds us together on our shared planet.
The preview will take place at Aspex Portsmouth on Thursday 30 January 2025, from 6pm – 9pm.
From 5:30pm, we invite artists, creatives and art workers for an extra half an hour of creative networking and catching up with friends and peers.
