Join prize-winning author, Dr Claire Williamson, for this two hour workshop in the intimate (indoor!) setting at Weston’s Grove Park. For almost 20 years, Claire’s work has centred on creative writing for therapeutic purposes and she is a true leader in the field.
This session offers the opportunity to engage with writing in a creative and reflective way, using prompts such as images and poems. A relaxing opportunity to write freely and share with others (optional) in a nurturing space.
No previous writing experience necessary
About Claire:
Claire has published four volumes of poetry. She was Director of Studies of MSc in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes with Metanoia Institute for ten years and has written extensively for performance with Welsh National Opera and composer Mark Lawrence.
Claire’s writing has won acclaim with The Bridport Prize, Neil Gunn, Sentinel, Poetry Space, Bristol Poetry Institute and Aurora.
