Mending For Everyone: Core Mending Skills

This workshop teaches you how to repair your clothes with several basic sewing skills. From threading a needle, to backstitch, ladder stitch and sewing on a button (properly!), these skills should help you repair most of the damage that happens to your clothing. This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to mend their clothes, parents or carers wanting to mend children’s clothes, or anyone interested in slow, sustainable fashion.

Participants will go home with a guide to each stitch they learnt, and a sample from the session. This workshop is suitable for beginners and adults over the age of 16.
