JEREMY DELLER | EVERYBODY IN THE PLACE
Continuous looped screenings of Jeremy Deller’s Everybody In The Place: an incomplete history of Britain 1984 – 1992 (2018)
Jeremy Deller uses rare footage to trace connections between strike action, protest and political unrest and the acid house and rave culture of Britain in the 1980s and early 90s. Everybody In The Place: an incomplete history of Britain 1984-1992 (2018) documents Deller describing his version of this history to A-Level students in North London in 2018 and incorporates their reactions and questions.
Deller won the Turner Prize in 2004 and represented Britain at the Venice Biennale in 2013. He lives and works in London. Over the past three decades he has produced a number of remarkable large-scale public realm projects, exploring various facets of pop culture and history.
