In Conversation: Anne Tallentire and Malin Ståhl

John Hansard Gallery presents an in-conversation event featuring Anne Tallentire and Malin Ståhl.

Join artist Anne Tallentire and Hollybush Gardens co-director Malin Ståhl as they discuss processes relevant to the production of works in Tallentire’s current John Hansard Gallery exhibition, Material Distance.

Key concepts considered include assemblage, arrangement, flatness, volume and their place in Tallentire’s practice. Looking closely at specific works, the discussion will open out to ideas concerning different registers of the real and how Tallentire’s practice aims to resist dramatic affect.

This event is in-person at John Hansard Gallery.

Material Distance on show at John Hansard Gallery until 14 January 2023.
