Join Breathing Fire, a Bristol-based African Caribbean Women’s theatre company, for an engaging theatre workshop
Inspired by Spike Island’s exhibition Asmaa Jama with Gouled Ahmed: 'Except this time nothing returns from the ashes' and using drama games and physical activities, the workshop focuses on the concept of storytelling through creative expression.
Participants are invited to explore ideas of character and status through methods such as posing, and reflect about the importance of their own stories, as individuals and as a collective.
