Help save Generate, a vital project which supports local people with dementia and their carers through a free programme of arts activities
We’ve launched a new Crowdfunder campaign to support the future of the Generate project, and we need your help in reaching our target!
Having first started in 2015, Generate has been supporting people with dementia and their carers through weekly arts workshops that aim to develop its members’ confidence through creativity , whilst reducing social isolation and providing a support network for carers and families who dedicate themselves to their loved ones’ care.
Alongside the creative workshops, Aspex also supports a self-run carers support group, which provides a much needed respite and an opportunity for carers to talk and share with others who empathise with and understand their situation.
Generate offers a vital lifeline for the local community, and as one of the only projects of its kind in Portsmouth, we now need your support to raise £10,000 to continue this important project. The money raised will be used to create further opportunities for participants to explore their creative potential and build crucial support networks through group trips, developmental activities, and more.
As part of the campaign, we’ve got some fantastic rewards on offer for those who pledge their support, including a brand new recipe book contributed by the Generate family, and exclusive hire of the Aspex Gallery.
