Crochet and Pom-Pom Making

In this fun and relaxed workshop, exhibiting artist Betty Sargent will give participants a choice of learning the basics of crochet or to develop your existing crochet skills in a friendly group setting. Alternatively, they can make bright and colourful pom-poms to take home. Be inspired by Betty’s wondrous textile art and create in warm and supportive company.

Betty Sargent is one of Art In Motion (AIM)’s key artists and has exhibited locally, nationally and internationally. Over the past decade, she has contributed to major projects, residencies and commissions. Her current exhibition, Fragments of Joy at Pound Arts marks an important moment in celebrating her artistic journey and sustained creative practice.
