This year’s focus is on curriculum challenges – integrating risk-taking, 3D practices and cross-curricular approaches while still meeting exam requirements. You’ll also be invited to join a wider conversation on how, as a collective, we can more effectively advocate for the arts.

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:

  • Portfolio session & discussion – share and compare student work with moderator Kimberley Pallot, with a focus on supporting lower-achieving students.
  • Assessment & Risk workshop – explore how 3D and ceramics fit within the assessment matrix, and ways to embed risk-taking in lessons.
  • Exhibition Sketchbook tour – creative responses to Chantal Joffe: The Prince with Cat Gibbard & Rebecca English.
  • Puppets, Play & Process workshop – a hands-on session with artist Mae Voogd, exploring puppetry as a cross-curricular tool to inspire creativity.
  • Freelands Foundation Reading Group – reviewing utopian, arts-based practices and their place in education.

Price: £85 per person (To acknowledge budget constraints this year, we’ve reduced the fee by £5, bringing it back to our 2023 rate.)

The day includes refreshments and a delicious lunch – always a valued chance to catch up with colleagues.
