About Emma Digerud-White
Emma Digerud‑White is a contemporary visual artist based in Cornwall, UK. Largely self‑taught, she deepened her practice through courses at Central Saint Martins and the Newlyn School of Art. Her layered, vibrant paintings — often composed with expressive brushstrokes or paint smeared by hand — portray figures whose inner landscapes spill into their surroundings, evoking emotional states such as love, loss, clarity, confusion, devotion and confrontation. Her work has been featured on Grayson Perry’s Art Club and included in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition as well as various group shows and a solo show at Circle Contemporary. Exploring identity, motherhood and human connection, Emma’s art invites intuitive engagement and emotional resonance.
