Once again, one of Bristol's oldest and best studio cooperatives throws open its doors to visitors.

On Friday 10th (5pm - 9pm) and Saturday 11th (11am - 6pm) of October, Centrespace Studios, now in it’s 48th year, will be open to visitors to explore three floors of artists, designers and makers who work across a diverse range of disciplines including jewellery, upholstery, ceramics, illustration, printmaking, sculpture, and much more. It is free to visit and everyone is welcome.

Lots has happened at Centrespace since last year’s event, including a number of major improvements to the building, and the arrival of Vicky Willmott and Jemma Gunning’s Bristol Print Collective in the newly re-jigged Studio 1.

There are other reasons to visit as well. Centrespace also has its own gallery next door with a varied exhibition programme. On the week of the Open, the gallery plays host to We’re Here Now, an exhibition by four Bristol illustrators including two current Centrespace members, Joe Berger and Henning Löhlein. Centrespace is on Leonard Lane, a graffiti hotspot, where every available surface is graced by an ever-changing display of Bristol’s street art.

Food and drink available.
