BRICKWORKS AT CAST STUDIO OPENING EVENT
Join us to celebrate the opening of Brickworks at CAST.
Join us to celebrate the opening of Brickworks at CAST, the new open-access ceramics studio in Helston. Have a go throwing a pot on the wheel or make a kiln god to welcome the new kilns to the studio.
Free to take part, £5 if you wish to have your piece glazed & fired to collect at a later date.
We also have confirmed dates for the first two courses: a six-week introduction to hand-building, throwing and surface decoration with Jaye Taylor will take place on Wednesday evenings from 13 July, and a four-week course in throwing for beginners, led by Bridie Maddocks, will run on Saturday afternoons from 23 July. There will also be one-off taster sessions towards the end of the month.
Full details and prices can be found on our website. To book or to register your interest in open access sessions, please email brickworks@c-a-s-t.org.uk
Funding for this project has been agreed by the Community Led Local Development programme (CLLD), administered by the Cornwall Development Company Ltd as the Accountable Body for the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
