A fabulous exhibition celebrating Spring featuring work by Kirsten Elswood
A lovely collection of landscape and still life paintings by Kirsten Elswood will be on show alongside glass, ceramics and metal work.

Kirsten Elswood is known for her atmospheric paintings of woodlands and forests. With a keen eye for light and the beauty in nature, Kirsten captures the charm of the forest landscape, particularly in Spring when vibrant bluebells carpet the ground. Through expressive brushstrokes and a harmonious palette she captures the sense of place. She uses her plein-air sketches to connect directly with the natural world, carefully observing light filtering through the canopy of trees.
Kirsten will be in the gallery demonstrating her landscape painting techniques on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th May. The gallery will be open those days as usual from 10am - 5pm.
