BEYOND THE FRAME: CURATOR WORKSHOP
A workshop for aspiring Curators with Abi Hutchinson, Arts & Culture Lead of Black Voices Cornwall and Cat Bagg, Director of Field Notes
Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange, Black Voices Cornwall, and Field Notes invite aspiring curators and artists to an interactive workshop with Abi Hutchinson, Arts and Culture Lead of Black Voices Cornwall, who will share her experience and learnings from curating Captured Beauty at Newlyn Art Gallery, and Cat Bagg, Director and Curator of Field Notes, who will offer an ‘introduction to fundraising’.
Field Notes is a projects organisation based in Cornwall who commission, develop and present art that finds new ways to break old ground. Black Voices Cornwall exists to enable Cornwall to become an actively anti-racist region. This event is open to those looking to gain insight into curatorial practice from a Global Majority perspective.

14.30 – 15.00: An introduction to Fundraising an Exhibition with Cat Bagg from Field Notes
15.00 – 15.30: Open session to discuss curation and fundraising ideas or questions
