Art Bytes launched this year as a national programme for primary, secondary and SEN schools
Art Bytes launched this year as a national programme for primary, secondary and SEN schools, combining an inter-school art competition with a virtual gallery and augmented reality technology. It has been open to year 5 and Year 9 pupils across all schools settings in England.
The programme was born from the hugely successful dot-art Schools Programme in the Liverpool City Regions, which is celebrating it’s 10th birthday this year. Art Bytes were delighted to welcome almost 100 schools from across the 9 regions of England to the first year of the programme.
After an expert shortlisting panel and an online public vote, the winning art work from each school will appear in the Art Bytes virtual gallery.
Arnolfini is the partner venue for the South West and wanted to showcase the shortlisted entries in our Light Studio to celebrate the incredible talent of our region. The exhibition includes works from 14 schools and 42 budding artists.
