Above and Below - Launch
Launching ‘Above and Below’, an exhibition of curated works and artefacts.
As part of Devon Open Studios and in association with the Time and Tide Bell Project and in partnership with Prof Corinna Wagner (University of Exeter), Artizan brings you “Above and Below”, an exhibition of curated works and artefacts that call communities to action in a collective response to the threats facing our coastlines and wider environment.
Join us for the launch of Above and Below, a night of music, poetry readings and wine with Andy Brown, Mark Woodward, Sally Flint, and Corinna Wagner.
Andy Brown and Marc Woodward are blues-country-singer/songwriters. Woodward is a virtuoso mandolin player and published poet; Andy Brown is a renowned U.K. poet, who has published many books of poetry and prose. He is also Professor of Poetry at the University of Exeter.
Sally Flint is a published poet, editor, leader on climate change projects at the University of Exeter and at COP26 and 27, co-editor of the journal Riptide and judge for the Bridport Poetry Prize.
The evening will also provide the opportunity to view the work in the exhibition and meet some of the participating artists, as well as to explore our three creative spaces, whose artists are also taking part in Devon Open Studios this year.
Venue Numbers 73 and 74
