Ryde Carnival Poster Commission
Ryde Carnival is excited to announce its 2024 Carnival poster commission.
Our poster commissions were funded through Ryde HAZ’s (Heritage Action Zone) cultural project: Waving the Flag. Following the success of our 2022 and 2023 posters, we are again looking for an artist to provide new original artwork for the 2024 Ryde Carnival season. The artwork will be used for a range of marketing purposes including (but not limited to) posters, merchandise, digital merchandising and television placement. We would also like the posters to be available for sale as signed, collectable, limited edition prints.
The fee for the commission and exhibition is £1500. Work must be completed and submitted by April 22nd 2024.
If you have any further questions about the commission, please email rydecarnival@talktalk.net

• Candidates experienced in adapting work for different contexts.
• A willingness to document the commission through social media platforms.

• A willingness to exhibit their artwork in a mini exhibition to showcase their design for Ryde Carnival 2024, alongside other pieces of their work. The mini exhibition will include the 2022 poster commissioned by Pete Bradley and the 2023 poster commissioned by Katie Stone.
