Residency Opportunity - Working Class Artist Open Call
Apply for a two-month residency at Aspex Portsmouth
Aspex Portsmouth is inviting artists who define themselves as working class to apply to a residency opportunity and be a part of our next Summer exhibition.
The Artist’s Studio will be available for use for two months, free of charge. In addition, the selected artist will receive a £2,000 cash bursary towards costs such as travel, materials and artist fees to make new work or complete work in process to be exhibited as part of our main gallery 2024 summer show which will explore class at the intersection of art and culture(12 July 2024 - 6 October 2024).
We are strongly encouraging applications from artists from the global majority who reside in Greater Portsmouth and/or that their commissioned project is influenced by how class manifests in our locality.
