Research Collective – Community and Programme Developer
Your role will focus on people who are not well represented in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths research and find ways to include them.
Contract: Permanent
Working hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
About the role
Your role will focus on people who are not well represented in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths research and find ways to include them.
You will do this by helping us pilot and deliver ‘Research Collectives’ with community groups, university researchers and other partners such as in industry. You will support community partners and individuals to develop research that represents their interests and leads to benefits both locally and more broadly.
The Open Source Science team is responsible for developing our 'Open Up Science in the City' Pledge. We’re creating engaging opportunities for public audiences and researchers to work alongside each other, to explore questions about the world around us, together. We’re committed to improving the quality of scientific research through introducing more diverse voices to the process; we’d like to see the benefits of research being relevant to a broader society. Interview date(s) and location: 8th & 9th February 2023. Interviews will be held in-person at our temporary offices at Temple Quay, Bristol.
