Knowle West Media Centre Public Art Residency for 2025
Knowle West Media Centre artist call out for a significant year long £30k public art residency to work in Knowle West, South Bristol, across 2025.
We're looking for an artist/s with a socially engaged practice who would like to create work on and with the communities of Filwood Broadway, a high street on the verge of much change, disruption, and regeneration. KWMC are lead producers for this exciting public art commission which is part of the £14.5 million Levelling Up works funded by UK Government.
This residency is for artists who have:
- Practices that engage with areas such as urban intervention, social action, transforming public space.
- Experience of working in and with communities.
- 5+ years experience working in socially engaged arts.
- Interest in, digital technologies and community tech.
- A collaborative approach to making.
