Aspex is looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent marketing, communication and digital skills and a ‘can do’ attitude to join its committed team. A passion for contemporary art and culture is essential but you might not have worked in the arts before. The Marketing & Communications Manager will be joining Aspex as we build on our 40+ year history of providing opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience contemporary visual art – from looking and discussing, to making and curating.
As Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for strategic marketing and communications, working closely with the Director and team. This is a pivotal role, with key responsibility to drive awareness, increase visitor engagement, numbers (physically and online), and income through traditional and digital media.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 8 November with three members of the Aspex staff team (Director, Joanne Bushnell; Curator/Programme Manager, Vickie Fear; and Trustee, Oliver Tubb).
On Wednesday 19 October, 3-4pm we will hold an Open Afternoon at the gallery for anyone interested in finding out more about the Marketing & Communications Manager role. This will be an informal opportunity to talk to Joanne Bushnell and other team members, to find out more about the post and Aspex.
