Facilities and Maintenance Technician

We are look­ing for a prac­ti­cal, proac­tive, and com­mu­ni­ty-mind­ed Main­te­nance Tech­ni­cian to join our team at East Quay.

About the role:

As Facilities and Maintenance Technician, you will play an important role in keeping our building and site running smoothly - from day-to-day maintenance and record keeping to supporting occasional larger projects across our community arts space.

This role is ideal for someone with a broad range of practical skills and a positive attitude. We appreciate that applicants may not have the full range of skills we are describing but should be able to demonstrate a range of skills and experience alongside a willingness to learn. For the right candidate there could be potential to grow the role supporting our wider aims for the organisation around regenerative practice.

You’ll work closely with the East Quay General Manager alongside a friendly and collaborative team including cafe and restaurant staff, the culture team, and studio tenants.

Location: Watchet, Somerset.
Salary: £11,200 to £12,000 for 16 hours per week to £16,800 to £18,000 for 24 hours per week (Full Time Equivalent £28,000 to £30,000). Dependent on experience.
