The 2026 CAS summer annual Open Exhibition invites artists to submit work in any contemporary art medium that responds to the title That's How the Light Gets In.


Work will be selected by Chapel Arts Studios' director Russ Tunney and curator Fiona Cassidy plus an invited guest selector who will be confirmed shortly.

PRIZE - The panel will award one artist a solo show which will be held at Chapel Arts Studios in 2027.

Work must have been made within the past three years and should be no larger than 1 meter in any dimension.

KEY DATES

Deadline | Sunday 7 June

Selected artists notified | Sat 13 June
Work to be delivered | Sat 20 or Mon 22 June
Exhibition Opens | Fri 26 June
Exhibition ends | Sat 25 July 2026
