Residency

CAS Graduate Educational Programme - 2024

CAS are very pleased to offer a tremendous opportunity for emerging artists wanting to develop their skills and experience working in the education.

We are providing a free studio-space for a 6-month residency (starting February 2024) to support the development of early career artists.

During the 6-month residency, as part of this extensive development package, the artist will receive:

School placement in Andover to explore and develop your educational skills and experience, working with teachers to provide weekly sessions.
Opportunity to develop and run adult or family workshops at CAS Community, Andover High Street

We would suggest a time commitment of 1 day a week for these activities

-Mentoring throughout the residency
-Enhanced DBS certification if needed (worth £50)
-Free studio-space in the town centre (worth around £1,300)
-CAS Associate Artist professional development membership for 1 year, giving access to all opportunities, facilities and events (worth £120).
-Exhibition opportunity

This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop skills in planning, delivering and evaluating art projects, as well as installing an exhibition, networking and learning from other artists.

This opportunity will be an excellent chance for any artist considering a career in art education. We welcome expressions of interest from both recent undergraduates and post graduates within one to three years of graduation from an art school.

To register your interest, please send an email to hr@chapelartsstudios.co.uk, explaining your interest in this programme and why you believe you are a suitable candidate.
